Hi Steve,
Given the above and my other reply, are you now satisfied that nothing
untoward has ever happened, was happening that time or is happening
now, or would you need more references/information/clarifications? I
understand that at the time you received that first mail you decided
to act quickly based on the threatening and worrying notice you were
given, and it's of course not your fault that it turned out to be,
let's say, incorrect. I ask because I am currently unable to do my job
as the (sole active) maintainer of debootstrap, which is to continue
working through the backlog of open MRs on Salsa to review them and
merge them, as I've been doing for the past couple of years, among
other things. Thank you for your consideration.
