Thanks, that's indeed what I had in mind. I need to finish chasing
regressions/fixes on Raspberry Pi, I've noted that down for later.

I should be able to share a small(-ish) ISO for you to test, so that
you can check whether touchpad support becomes available. Same story
as before: that'd be just about booting the installer, reaching the
language selection screen, and letting us know whether the touchpad's
working.

If that works, I'll need to coordinate with the kernel team to see
which component should be used to ship those modules (which would
then be picked up by further installer builds).
