Bug#1035476: debian-installer: Apt asks for cdrom volume after installed from nonremovable USB volume
Package: debian-installer
Followup-For: Bug #1035476
X-Debbugs-Cc: debian@centrolinux.pt
Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
Me and other users where installing Debian, on the Centro Linux
computer lab, because we wanted to provide the fastest possible
experience to the attendees making multiple installations in
parallel during our activitiy, we used the DVD installer image
and not the net-install image.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
We installed Debian using the DVD image, and afterwards we used
taskel to install aditional software on Debian.
* What was the outcome of this action?
The outcome was tasksel getting stuck on an infinite loop, while it
kept trying to reach the repository on the DVD, which did not existed
* What outcome did you expect instead?
We exepected that the installation was completed and the DVD got
removed afterwards, or that in the end the installer asked if we
wanted to keep it or remove it.
