Package: debian-installer
Version: 7.2
Severity: normal

Dear maintainer,
I am trying to install debian on a new MSI GE70 20C laptop.
After pressing on install the screen becomes black.
Trying the latest weekly version
-rw-r--r-- 1 tom tom 651165696 Nov 3 15:41 debian-7.2.0-amd64-kde-CD-1.iso
-rw-r--r-- 1 tom tom 679477248 Dec 9 11:24 debian-7.2.0-i386-lxde-CD-1.iso
from yesterday doesn't help too.

There is no operating system on the laptop.
I have looked around and found some ubuntu bug reports:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1249787
[MSI GE70 2OE] Ubuntu 13.10 does not boot divide error: 0000 [#1] SMP

Regards
Thomas

I'm closing these bugs, since they are lacking further information from the
reporters, to help for more detailed diagnosis.
Thus it's unlikely to gain some more benefit from them.
