Comments/Problems:

The installer did not succeed in setting up my wireless network card properly.
This is a Netis WF-2106 USB wireless card. It looks to me like it failed to load the rtl8712u firmware, but I'm not sure why.
I'm attaching the debug logs.
This is using a bleeding-edge installation image but I've had similar results with other less-recent images like the normal Testing one.

Hi,

since we have some kind of a next-generation installer, when it comes to
installation of (non-free) firmware, I'm closing all related old bugreports.

They have been helpful at the time, when they were filed, however now we have
a completely new situation / mechanism in place for this, so let's make a cut
now and close such bugs, and let people file new ones with recent installer
versions, if they still experience problems.
