Package: debian-installer Severity: normal Hi, when installing powerpc, the default filesys is ext3 (which i think is a good default), but later on the quix installation fails for it needs at least a /boot in ext2 format. Thus going back to partitioning and creating a /boot in ext2. Now the partitions are reformatted, but the d-i goes back to quix installation (skipping over bootstrapping), and quix fails again for there is no system in /target anymore. Either the quix should learn to cope with ext3 or the partitioning should be telling you, that at least one ext2 is needed. Anyway, the d-i should again bootstrap the new partitions after voiding their contents instead of skipping all the way forward again. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.7-vs1.9.1.10 Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8
