Bug#977214: debian-installer: Please allow underscore in username of first account
Package: debian-installer
Severity: wishlist
X-Debbugs-Cc: john@paladyn.org
Dear Maintainer,
If a system has a number of users then more that one will have the same first
name. After the initial install it is possible to add users with names such
as john_lines, but this is not permitted for the first user, make them an
anomoly.
Please use the NAME_REGEX="^[a-z][-a-z0-9_]*\$" pattern as per adduser
Thank you
John
