Control: severity -1 wishlist Control: tags -1 wontfix Hi Jon, Christoph and I (the busybox maintainers) have had a good look at this and don't think that it belongs as part of busybox. To be clear: this is no indication of the merit of the functionality that you are proposing nor the quality of your patch, just that we don't want to add additional complexity and maintenance burden to an already complex package that we struggle to keep on top of. Given the contents of your patch it looks like it should be pretty trivial to introduce as an independent source package.
