Bug#926947: d-i.debian.org: Setting the 'd-i network-console/password password' preseed variable doesn't change password of 'installer' user

Control: tag -1 - d-i + patch pending
Control: reassign -1 network-console

FWIW:

Our usual catch-alls for reporting bugs are debian-installer and
installation-reports; d-i.debian.org is mostly meant for our own
infrastructure.

I think I've just fixed this issue after some exchanges on this other
bug report: https://bugs.debian.org/928299

This should be easy to confirm: segfaults in /var/log/syslog?

Feel free to follow up once version 1.81 is in the archive and is picked
up by d-i.

Thanks for reporting anyway!

Cheers,
