Bug#885883: AMD/ATI RD780 Host Bridge Firmware



After installation and booting into the new system, I did observe the following output from dmesg:

[    0.242351] pci 0000:00:00.0: [Firmware Bug]: reg 0x1c: invalid BAR (can't size)

The lspci -v command reports the following for PCI 0:

        Capabilities: [9c] HyperTransport: #1a

It is not clear if there is any consequence to this "Firmware Bug." Please let me know if you have any suggestions for debugging this further.
