Quite literally "A survey of boot process in Debian on i386 with Legacy BIOS" ;} I just searched my old message threads and came across a reply received in 2011 stating "You should first clarify what's what you havein mind, I'm not seeing your goal." With 20/20 hindsight I can recognize the topic of that thread as being related to my current projectS {note the plural}. Many of those treads would not have been begun if I had an adequate understanding of the boot process.
