That looks really useful to me.

Perhaps this output should be an appendix to the preseeding section of
the installer manual, or at least put in a place where it can be linked
to (with multiple versions being kept available).

I suspect that comparing the output that results from running this on
past versions of the installer might also be useful for people wanting
to migrate preseed scripts forward to newer versions.

I guess that adding links to the source of the package that contains
each template would allow people to explore what difference setting a
particular thing really makes (by looking at the scripts that use the
value), which might make this more useful still.
