@Andreas: I'm not sure why this should be different from other packages:
talk to the maintainers before filing pu requests? I'm lagging behind on
my debian-boot@ reading, but it seems I can't find any mails regarding
this. Oh, actually, there's one (still after the fact), in a thread
about partman-base, which doesn't really help tracking what's happening
for partman-ext3…

It might be. Having this package in a d-i release for more exposure
might be a good idea though. I suggest we delay this until after the
next one has been published (and tested a bit). I don't think we're
ready for the next point release yet anyway, are we?
