Although this bug has been reported as closed, I
still experience it with Stretch Alpha 5 as well as the current
stable installation packages, both CD and net install. This is a very frustrating bug when trying to do installations and priority should be given to fully examining the issue and fixing it. I had to boot another distribution from a live disk and clear the partition space that I wanted to use with Debian. After clearing the existing partitions, deleting them, and then repartitioning I was able to successfully install Debian stable from a net installation. |
