I discussed with Nigel (cc:) if this needs to be fixed by using
ro,noload when mounting the partition via grub-mount? The bug seems to
be there since at least

    /usr/lib/os-probes/50mounted-tests

invokes grub-mount which should use "noload"[1] for the fuse mount (IIRC).
