Dailies are going to hit #844458 I suppose.

Are you getting the exact same error with Stretch Alpha 8? That would be
rather curious since the above mentioned bug should only be in code
available in unstable, rather than testing.

It'd be nice to get a full /var/log/syslog from such an installation
attempt (feel free to compress it so that it doesn't get munged by
mailing list software).
