Restarting manually through a hard poweroff/poweron did not help either.
Also I realized that the installer asked for brcm/brcmfmac4330-sdio.bin for
the wifi module, but when supplying it on a USB stick formatted as ext4, the
installer did not find it.
I checked, the Jessie installer works on the same hardware flawless. Upgrading
fom Jessie to Stretch worked flawless. In stretch I have the u-boot-tools
rd@kodi:~$ apt-cache policy u-boot-tools
u-boot-tools:
Installed: 2016.03+dfsg1-6

Kind regards
