Bug#821307: busybox should not replace kmod's modprobe in initramfs
Package: busybox
Version: 1:1.22.0-18
Severity: important
Control: affects -1 initramfs-tools-core
Control: block 820036 with -1
kmod always copies its binaries and library into the initramfs.
There is no point in overriding them with the less capable busybox
versions.
For example, kmod should soon (I hope!) get support for detached
module signatures but I don't expect busybox to do this.
Ben.
