Frankly, I don't understand the problem.
I do understand manual config was needed and that working DHCP is expected.
And I do understand that an unreliable connection can make DHConfigP fail.
I wonder what the effect of router option "Address Reservation" is.

I think it is 'A router that uses add-in "Address Reservation", can not tell 
 the installer to Debian ip address.' that I don't understand.
