256 MB is the default maximum size for /boot in most partman-auto
recipes.  I don't think it's too large because people might install a
lot of kernels.  Also, wasting a few MB on a large drive is hardly an
issue, definitely a smaller issue than running out of space.

I suggest we close this bug.  Maybe you agree - hard drives have only
gotten bigger in the 9.5 years since you filed this bug. :)
