Bug#722735: Installation Report - Issue with config-debian script when installing on ARM Buffalo Linkstation HS-DSGL

Hi Tim,

I just found your installation report from 2013 regarding Buffalo
Linkstation HS-DSGL that unfortunately nobody responded to,

So if I understand you correctly, the config-debian script gives an
error. It checks whether sda1 or md0 are ext2 or ext3 filesystem.
But if I understand correctly, this is no longer called sda1 or md0 on
newer firmware versions but /dev/disk1-1something. So maybe in
addition to sda1 and md0, we should also accept disk1-1.

I know it's been two years, but can you check what the device is
called exactly?

I've copied Roger Shimizu who also works with Linkstation devices.
Maybe he can help. I don't have any Linkstation hardware.
