Bug#804770: debootstrap: please don't install nfacct and related libs

Package: debootstrap
Version: 1.0.74
Severity: wishlist

Dear debootstrap maintainers,

thanks for your work in this tool, it's just awesome :-)

Yesterday I noticed that debootstrap is installing nfacct and related libs
by default.
I simply ignore how do deboostrap chooses which packages to install.

nfacct is a software by the Netfilter project to perform network accouting
by means of iptables.
It has a very specific pourpose, and I think it's not used unless you are
running an accounting firewall or other network application to perform
accounting. Which I bet is very rare.
I guess that 100% of users of nfacct are fine if they have to manually install
it with aptitude or other method after running debootstrap.

I was told on a debian channel (IRC) that there is no reason to not install
it, it's a very small package after all.
But again, the nfacct software has very specific pourpose and little usage for
most of people both in the desktop land and the server land.

I wonder if nfacct being installed by debootstrap is the reason behind the
abnormal popcon values [0].

thanks, best regards.
