Hi !

The current debian-installer installs linux-image-2.6-arch
metapackage. In appendix D.3.5, we should mention this metapackage
instead of linux-image-2.6.18-arch.

The installation manual for Debian 8 "jessie" uses that form.  I don't
know when this was changed.
