I didn't,  but it looks like reprepro did that for me.

Oh, I'll definitely give that a shot.


I pretty much figured out a workaround for now,  using d-i
preseed/late_command in-target script that mounts the cdrom,  creates a new
install.list file and apt-updates right from /media/cdrom0/ads/apt/debian.
So all packages are now installed.  Though would like to clean it up a bit
and use the tools the way they're supposed to be :)
