My result from a web search
I added 'nouveau.modeset =0' to the end of the line that ended in quiet
and that seems to allow me to boot into the os.

[1] Your hardware sadly still being owned by Nvidia. You as customer
are insulted by Nvidia, they don't tell you what they selling.
