The screenshots I know about seem to be from a Wheezy machine. Here's
one of them:
$ tasksel --task-desc ssh-server

Since this seems to have been captured with German locales, I've
tried to reprodcue it with German locales:
$ env LANG=de_DE tasksel --task-desc ssh-server
$
still shows an empty line. But this one outputs something:
$ env LANGUAGE=de_DE:de tasksel --task-desc ssh-server
Project-Id-Version: tasksel-tasks
Report-Msgid-Bugs-To:
POT-Creation-Date: 2012-06-09 08:27+0000
PO-Revision-Date: 2010-01-14 21:20+0100

Nevertheless this only seems to be meta information about the
translation. There's not a single part of information about the task
itself. So the issue still seems there, even though I can now
reproduce the output I saw on Wheezy.
