I can confirm this issue
"debian-jessie-DI-a1-amd64-gnome-CD-1.iso" install Xcfe not Gnome
Steps to reproduce issue
1. Go to
http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/jessie_di_alpha_1/amd64/iso-cd/ Download "debian-jessie-DI-a1-amd64-gnome-CD-1.iso"
2. Install using the "Graphical install" from the top menu
3. When ask "Configure the package manager" > "Use a network mirror?" select "Yes". This is the default option.
4. Once the installation is completed reboot. "Xcfe" was install. Expected result is the default installer for that .iso file should install Gnome not Xcfe.
