Bug#746245: installation-reports: Jessie daily amd64 netinst from 25/04/2014 won't even load

Hi,
As briefly mentioned in IRC, trying to install from
debian-testing-amd64-netinst.iso[1] on an SD card in an UEFI-hybrid
laptop the installer won't even appear. A series of "syntax error"
scroll down the screen very fast and after about one or two seconds
the grub shell appears. I tried the same image on a virtual machine
and it works, but that'd be without UEFI.
debian-jessie-DI-a1-amd64-netinst.iso works on the same real machine,
but an installation under UEFI mode is unbootable - "the OS can not be
found" (something along those lines). Under legacy mode it works fine.
