Hello,
I've returned to Debian after (short) excursion to Free/PC-BSD-10.
Considering I was able to use ZFS with its features like pools & raid1,
I'd like to avoid using lvm2/mdadm setup on Linux and embrace btrfs
which provides the same functionality with simpler setup.
Found some tutorials on the net like yours
http://danielpocock.com/install-debian-directly-with-btrfs-raid1 which
describes btrfs in raid1 setup and
http://zythmer.acyclic.org/blog/2013/01/27/debian-full-disk-encryption-btrfs-subvolumes.html
which describes simple lvm2-like setup using btrfs and subvolumes.
Downloaded jessie-a1 installer and can see that it can normally use btrfs
as fs in e.g. guided partition schemes, but there is still no automatic support
for install with btrfs' subvolumes and/or btrfs raid1 setup which is
pity considering those are some of the benefits of using btrfs.

So, I'm interested what is the status/plan in regard to this bug as far
as installer for Jessie is concerned?
Sincerely,
