debian-installer/keymap does not exist, only keymap exists, as an alias
for keyboard-configuration/xkb-keymap. This really is a keymap in the
xkb sense, i.e. de_CH (which is a locale) does not make sense, the
german swiss keymap is just ch (and the french swiss, ch(fr) ).
That being said, it seems keyboard-configuration/xkb-keymap preseeding
does not work at all: appending keymap=ch does skip the question, but
does not actually fill it with "ch", thus leading to all sorts of bogus
results (depending on the locale).
