The severity of this bug should be higher as it breaks the Debian installer in many use cases that would otherwise work (eg. user creates partitions on a multiple OS system outside of debian installer, then boots into installer to do the install - this should work, but instead it now fails if the user selects btrfs). As btrfs is getting more common, it's increasingly likely that users will attempt to use it for an install.
