Da die Platte nagelneu ist sollte sie zunächst partitioniert werden. Die eigenliche Partitionierung meldete keine Fehler, jedoch wurde die Formatierung der logischen Partitionen mit Fehlermeldung abgebrochen. Mittels Knoppix3.3 und cfdisk / mke2fs -c konnte die Platte dann partitioniert und formatiert werden. cfdisk meldete eine Überlappung der logischen Laufwerke aus dem Versuch mit dem Debian-Installer. Nach Löschung und Neuanlage der Partitionen lief die Formatierung fehlerfrei ab. Die Partitionen konnten dann auch mit Knoppix gemountet werden.
