Comments/Problems: Installs succesfully, but then when it boots the screen segments and the top third appears to be washed out. Starting again but typing Linux video=ofonly freezes the entire screen during boot up.

This appears to be the same problem that occured with Wheezy. The last time I had this machine working successfully was with Squeeze- it's been an extra computer that I occasionally tinker with and try different systems. It's something with the nouveau drivers and xorg. The discussion on the internet that seems to be the most helpful is here- that's where I'll go to troubleshoot if I can get console access at some point.
