We're now back with /dev/sda being selected by default even if the installation
image is on /dev/sda and /dev/sdb is the hard drive being installed on. Of
course, it's nicer than in wheezy since users have a prompt and can change it.

I liked it better when the default was “Enter manually” because a careless Enter
wouldn't lead to a corrupted installation image + an unbootable, semi-installed
system.

I might sound like a broken record but that's *exactly* what I've repeatedly
warned against!

Sigh,
KiBi.

grub-installer - Install GRUB on a hard disk (udeb)
Closes: 763580
Changes:
 grub-installer (1.99) unstable; urgency=medium
 .
   * Revert using default_bootdev as the default when bootdev is unset (see
1.98 upload) since it brings back the infamous default-to-/dev/sda
issue (Closes: #763580). Always asking seems safer until someone does
the needed work to improve detection.
