Without any feedback in the upcoming hours, a revert is going to happen,
currently stashed as a branch in git: pu/hotfix-jessie-beta-2

This restores the behaviour we have in Jessie Beta 1, which is itself an
improvement over the wheezy/squeeze (and maybe older) situation.

It's not vital to get it uploaded and into testing before uploading
debian-installer since it's “only” copied on to installation images.
