Bug#760992: debian-installer: i18n: doesn't load keyboard layout that was just set

that's indeed what should happen.

We'll need:
 - to know which images you've tried (latest wheezy? jessie beta 1?
   something else? on which architecture?)
 - to see the installer's syslog (/var/log/installer); someone could
   spend time trying to reproduce but sharing the logs is usually the
   fastest/easiest way to get eyes looking at an issue.

This is likely. Switching away from default en/us locale settings is
something I test very regularly.

It's been the case since many years… For the graphical installer, that
might not have affected the text consoles, but starting with wheezy (I
think) those also get the selected keymap on the fly.
