Bug#760484: PXE-based install of current netboot images for amd64/i386 hangs at libc-bin installation

Comments/Problems:

Installing from the PXE-based netboot image has worked fine previously on both i386 and amd64-based images. I confirm that this problem happens on both i386 and amd64 images, with and without preseeding.

Installation hangs at screen reading:
"Select and install software"
"12%"
"Running post-installation trigger libc-bin"

(In the 64-bit installation, the lines are identical except for:

Local user info was not found in /target/etc/password or /target/etc/shadow

Timezone info was found in /target/etc/timezone ('Canada/Eastern')

Boot arguments for 32-bit as follows (64-bit almost identical); file is INCLUDED into a base default file:
