Comments/Problems:

Boots from the ISO OK.
Select "advanced options", then "alternative desktop environments", then "Gnome". Only option available at that point is "Go back". Other alternative desktop environments (KDE, LXDE) present options to install. Selecting GNOME presents no options to install.
