Comments/Problems:
Hi, on my new laptop (with UEFI boot, secure boot disabled) installation of debian jessie failed after several attempts. Although I could boot the installer to the first graphical selection screen, it hung or froze and didn't get any further than this when I selected further options (install, graphical install, graphical expert install etc.).
In particular, when I chose graphical expert install (not sure if this happened with other options) , it went to a terminal and ran quickly through several tests/ attempting to booting to installer before freezing afte two lines which said:
- freeing unused kernel memory 1328k
- freeing unused kernel memory 428k.
