Well, we have things like rootskel where we include certain scripts
only on certain architectures (src/lib/debian-installer-startup.d/Makefile),
so I believe no further hooks are needed.  Scripts can always check
for the architecture using archdetect.

So from my POV you're welcome to close this bug report.
