Package: debian-installer Severity: wishlist While most think as Mate and Cinnamon only as forks of Gnome (2 and 3 respectively), both are now full DEs, with their own features. Thanks to Linux Mint people pushing them, they've gained a noticeable userbase. Cinnamon has many option lacking in Gnome Shell, and way more customization capabilites. Mate is loved by Gnome Panel nostalgics, and it's the perfect first DE for people coming from Windows. I think it would be a good idea to include them both alongside Gnome, KDE, Xfce and LXDE. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.9-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=it_IT.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=it_IT.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash
