Comments/Problems:
Installtion seemed to go ok, but when starting the installed system, the screen
went really really dark (not quite absolutely black, but almost). I've
succeeded in sort of working around this problem by means of adding
acpi_osi=Linux
as a kernel boot option, and adding
setpci -s 00:02.0 F4.B=00
to /etc/rc.local
but this is not a complete solution, since when e.g. the screen goes dark
because the screen goes dark because for "screensaver" reasons, it is then
impossible to recover.
