Package: installation-reports

Boot method: CD
Image Version: Debian GNU/Linux testing "Wheezy" - Official Snapshot amd64 xfce-CD Binary-1 20130211-05:00

Machine: Toshiba C850/0G6
Vendor-Info: http://www.mytoshiba.com.au/products/computers/satellite/c850/pscbwa-0g6001
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3230M CPU @ 2.60GHz
Memory: 4GB
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4000

Machine was configured for UEFI, with "Secure Boot" disabled. GParted
was used to shrink the existing ntfs partition.

Current Wheezy installer gives corrupted display on boot. Details and
workaround in bug#700598.

Installation otherwise proceeded unremarkably.

Microphone capture doesn't work. Maybe this is due to module
snd-hda-intel needing a (as yet unknown) model parameter? Extract from
lspci:

00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 7 Series/C210 Series Chipset Family High Definition Audio Controller (rev 04)

Extract from `aplay -l`:

card 0: PCH [HDA Intel PCH], device 0: ALC269VC Analog [ALC269VC Analog]

Later, we've experienced a couple of machine hangs with SD card inserted.
Will attempt to debug further and raise a separate bug.

Thanks,
Neale.

Given that your installation was a complete success, I do as
usual with reports for successful installations: I close the bug..:-)

This does not of course mean you weren't right to report. Knowing the
installations are correct is important for the d-i team.

Many thanks for your time testing the Debian Installer and reporting
your results. Have fun with your new Debian system!
