Bug#698392: partman: Installation stops at "Starting up the partitioner" around 50%

Once the installation is stopped removing the key does not help any
more. You have to do this immediately after the firmware has been loaded
from the USB device and before partman is started. A flashing LED on the
device helps.

If you tell me how to capture a log at this stage of an installation I
might be able to help. But I think there is no log yet on a blank hard
disk.
