Bug#732060: GNU/kFreeBSD is not workable on this box (FSC Futro S400 thinclient)

First I tried to use the default UFS-filesystem, but the result was a non-bootable
system; this would clearly have required an ext3 boot-partition in order to be workable.
Then with ZFS it was much nicer, grub can boot from that obviously; I did have the
impression, that the write-performance is much better, the base-system was installed at
least in half the time, it took with UFS. But it turned out, that the system is not
running in a stable way. It does not shut down cleanly for example and the
CPU-frequency-scaling does not work either.
It was kind of adventurous to use ZFS on a 32-bit system with only 512MB RAM, but this is
not the reason for the system-instability, I think, but it is probably powerd's fault.
The primary virtual terminal is not usable, because it is running full of

messages, when one waits too long the kernel-ringbuffer is filled with those and the
boot-messages are gone.
dfree.txt shows the output of 'df -Tl' upon enabling the default compression for ZFS and
installing the XFCE desktop-environment.
There does not seem to be much impact on read- or write-performance with the
default-compression enabled although the CPU is not very fast, while the compression-ratio
is good enough.
When XFCE is starting up, one is greeted with the message 'Your system is not supported
yet !'. An audio-driver seems to be missing for the SIS-chipset, which is not really an
issue when using the box as a nano-home-server.
It was possible to shut down the system cleanly by pressing the device's power-button
once, but not with a software-shutdown.
It was not possible to do 'reportbug installation-report', seemingly because of a
segmentation fault, so I report the issues here and hope they are forwarded to the kFBSD
people.
