Recently buying a laptop, I found https://wiki.debian.org/InstallingDebianOn a rather useful resource. Rather than filing a successful installation report, it seemed better to add a page there (and file individual bugs for minor issues encountered with the install). Seems that this would be a useful thing to point users at both pre and post install. One immediate easy idea I have is that, when closing a successful installation report, suggest that the user might create or add to the page in the wiki for their hardware. -- see shy jo
