Comments/Problems:

At the very beginning of the installation, detection of ISO image on the
USB device fails.

After looking in terminal, there is only /dev/sda (internal SSD) listed.
The USB device is not listed in directory /dev.

I tested the installation from USB stick.
With the new kernel 3.10, it works now.

I'll close this bug report.
