Bug#626219: Installer could not detect booted USB drive in USB3 port
Hello,
I tried today to install from the official Debian 7.0 i386 installer (netinst iso image) from a USB stick.
From a USB3 port the system boots but then the installer fails at the cdrom detection phase.
Using a USB2 port fixes the problem.
After the installation I can use the USB3 ports without problem. So the installed kernel has no problem using a USB3 port.
I do not have access to the machine any more. So I can't make new tests, sorry.
Bye,
