The virtio-net module (as every NIC modules) should only be needed for
the netboot image. The netinst image has the virtio-net module (and
other NIC modules) on the CD-ROM in:
pool/main/l/linux/virtio-modules-3.2.0-4-sparc64-di_3.2.41-2_sparc.udeb
