I expect the installer would point out the problem or correct it. Well, anticipating any kind of errors that users can do is hard. The preseed value mentions "hostname" so one could expect that people enter hostnames, here, not URLs...:-) Reassigning to the package this belongs to, but don't dream too much : there are low chances this is fixed....
